The Home Counties American Cocker Club is aware of the current trend of declining entries at general Open Shows throughout the Country and wish to be proactive in redressing the balance in the South East of England. As such, we will be supporting classes for the breed at selected Open shows within our area by providing publicity and help to maintain entries, and also by sponsoring the rosettes for our breed.
Most importantly, the Club will insist that judges are chosen from our B & C Judges Lists in order to ensure those officiating have a good idea of breed requirements and characteristics, and have shown a specific interest in American Cockers. Additionally, it will assist those judges to progress through the system in a constructive way, by having the opportunity to judge well supported breed classes.
